Do I need to train my non-supervisory employees?

Yes. Effective January 1st, 2021, SB 1343 requires employers with 5 or more employees to provide sexual harassment prevention training to all non-supervisory employees within 6 months of hire. It is important to note that seasonal and temporary workers hired to work for a perior shorter than 6 months this law is effective January 1st, 2020 and requires those employees to receive training within 30 days of their hire date. Training must be at least one hour in duration and can be provided online.

How do I enroll my employees in the Workplace Harassment online training?

  1. 1. Purchase one or more training licenses for you and/or your employees.
  2. 2. Allocate the training to each supervisor.
  3. 3. Employees will go through a 60-minute training, including relevant workplace scenarios and quizzes.
  4. 4. At the end of the training, they will be able to print a Certificate of Completion. As an account administrator, your have access to all employees' certificate.

Do employees have to complete the training all at once?

No, the training is self-paced. They can start and review a few chapters, log out of the account, and resume the training at a different time. All progress will be saved.
